The original plans remain a mystery, but some records indicate that W.H. “Pipes” Follet was the architect of the original nine holes. Today, that century-old foundation is the starting point for a thoughtful new chapter.

New Ownership Takes the Helm
Carlisle Golf Group assumes the direction of the Club on April 1, 2025, beginning a new chapter focused on enhancing playability and the member experience while preserving the course’s legacy.
A New Architectural Partner
Carlisle Golf Group retains the well known architectural firm Fry Straka Global Golf Course Design to consult on ongoing renovations aimed at enhancing playability and member experience while preserving the club’s legacy.
Irrigation Retrofit Nearing Completion
The course’s aging and fractured irrigation system has undergone a full retrofit to restore course conditions to the Club’s high standards — and that work is now nearing completion.
Looking Ahead
With the irrigation project nearly complete, the focus shifts to the next round of enhancements — continuing to improve playability while honoring the course’s golden-age character.
